
Kompon Called up to Lake Erie

Allen Americans News Release
Allen Texas-The Allen Americans of the Central Hockey League and Head Coach and GM Dwight Mullins announced today that Mike Kompon has been called up to the Lake Erie Monsters, Allen's AAA Affiliate of the American Hockey League.
Kompon was signed by Allen as a free agent this off season after playing the last four years in Germany.
Kompon a native of Thunder Bay Ontario, began his junior hockey career with the Thunder Bay Flyers of the USHL IN 1999. His best offensive numbers as a pro came in 2004-2005 with the Quad City Mallards, where Kompon put up 90 points, 39 goals, 51 assists in 77 games.
The Americans made a couple roster moves today waiving defenseman Greg Brown, and put Forward Spencer Edwards, and defenseman Ryan Hand on IR.
