KNIGHTS CAPTURE 4TH CONSECTUTIVE HAMILTON SPECTATOR TROPHY: The 2006-2007 captured the Hamilton Spectator Trophy by finishing the season with a record of 50-14-1-3 for 104 Points.. This marks the 4th consecutive time that the London Knights Hockey Club has won the OHL Regular Season Title.. The Knights have won the OHL Regular Season crown every season since 2003-2004..The Knights are the only team in the history of the OHL to win the OHL Regular Season Title 4 years in a row.
MASON SETS OHL RECORD FOR WINS WITH 45: London Knights Goaltender Steve Mason set the new OHL record for wins in a season on Friday, March 16th, 2007 with a 9-3 win over the Erie Otters at the John Labatt Centre..Mason, 18 made 29 saves for his 45th win of the season..The previous OHL Record for wins in a season was held by former Knight Adam Dennis who set the record in 2005-2006 with 44 wins.Mason a 3rd Round Pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2006 NHL Draft finished the 2006-2007 season with a record of 45-13-1-3 with 2 shutouts..
2006-2007 KNIGHTS JOIN RECORD BOOKS: The 2006-2007 London Knights entered the OHL record book by setting the best ever road record by any OHL team in 1 season..The 2006-2007 London Knights recorded their 29th win of the season on March 17, 2007 @ Erie to surpass the mark of 28 set by the 2004-2005 London Knights..The 2006-2007 London Knights finished the season 29-5-0-0 in 34 road games this season.
KANE WINS OHL SCORING TITLE: London Knights Rookie Patrick Kane won the 2006-2007 OHL Scoring Title with 62 Goals and 83 Assists for 145 Points in just 58 games...Kane becomes the 3rd consecutive London Knight to win the OHL Scoring Title..Corey Perry won the OHL Scoring Title in 2004-2005 and Rob Schremp in 2005-2006..
