The Canadian Hockey League today announced the BMO Bank of Montreal CHL Top 10 Rankings for the week ending Sunday February 22. The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League's top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
The London Knights (45-10-2-2) maintained the top spot in the rankings this week after earning wins over the Mississauga IceDogs, Erie Otters and Kingston Frontenacs last weekend. The Knights have won eight in a row and lead the CHL with a .797 winning percentage in 59 games. The Guelph Storm (42-12-5-0) slid to fourth in the rankings after a 1-2-0-0 week that included a win over the Belleville Bulls.
The Gatineau Olympiques (45-10-6-0) jumped back to second after wins over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies, Val d'Or Foreurs, Shawinigan Cataractes and Victoriaville Tigres. Olympiques captain Maxime Talbot was named CHL player of the week after scoring four goals and 13 points.
