Knighthawks Will Send Millionth Fan to Vegas

(Rochester, NY)... Jeremy Newman from WBEE announced this morning that the Rochester Knighthawks will award the franchise's millionth fan a trip for two to Las Vegas. The four-night, five-day package includes airfare and accommodations. Newman revealed the Opening Night Promotion, while in the company of the Rochester Knightingales Dance Team at the WBEE Studio in High Falls.

The Knighthawks will reach one million fans on opening night, which will highlight the Saturday, January 21st against the Buffalo Bandits at 7:30 p.m. at The Blue Cross Arena. Stay tuned to the BEE Morning Coffee Club each week for more details about opening night.

With the milestone in sight, a season ticket holder will win the prize as gates open a half hour earlier as one of their benefits. To order season tickets, fans can call a sales representative at (585) 454-HAWK (4295) or go online to Knighthawks.net. Become a season ticket holder and get the best seats in the house for $200 and have a chance to go to Las Vegas on the Knighthawks. Fans have until the end of the day on Friday, January 20th to purchase season tickets for the contest.

Knightingales Emilie, Angela and Megan made a surprise visit to the BEE Morning Coffee Club. The girls delivered breakfast and welcomed Newman to the "team." Newman will make his Knighthawks debut at the team's preseason home game on Saturday, December 17th, as Rochester hosts the Minnesota Swarm at 7:00 p.m.

The game is FREE to the public and is the first home preseason game at the BCA since Rochester hosted the Buffalo Bandits on December 14, 2002. To pick up tickets for the preseason game, go to the Knighthawks Office at 144 Exchange Blvd, Suite 102. The Knighthawks will use the game as a charity fundraiser for needy families during the holidays. Fans can win prizes and meet Santa Claus. Newman, who is one of the hosts of the popular morning show, joins the Knighthawks as the team's spokesperson as part of a partnership between the Knighthawks and Entercom Radio. The Knighthawks will broadcast all of their regular season and playoff games on their new radio partner, Sportsradio 950 ESPN. Entercom includes a powerful family of stations that will provide support for the NLL team this season. They include 92.5 WBEE, 98.9 WBZA, 96.5 WCMF, 97.9 WPXY and Sportsradio ESPN 950 AM (WROC).
