Knighthawks Unveil 2022-23 Season-Opening Roster

(Rochester, NY) - Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today the team's 21-man opening weekend roster for the 2022-23 National Lacrosse League season.

Rochester's season-opening roster includes eight forwards, nine defensemen, two transition players and two goaltenders.

ACTIVE ROSTER

Forwards (8): Holden Cattoni, Turner Evans, Connor Fields, Austin Hasen, Thomas Hoggarth, Curtis Knight, Ryan Smith and Thomas Vela.

Defensemen (9): Matt Bennett, Dan Coates, Paul Dawson, Tyler Halls, Brad Gillies, Mitch Ogilvie, Curtis Romanchych, Ethan Schott and Jordan Trottier.

Transition (2): Matt Gilray and Jordan Stouros.

Goaltenders (2): Rylan Hartley and Riley Hutchcraft.

INACTIVE ROSTER

Injured Reserve: Cory Highfield (T), Ryland Rees (T) and Jeff Wittig (F).

Physically Unable to Perform List: Tyler Biles (D), Carter Schott (D) and Thomas Whitty (T).

Practice Squad: Cory Becker (D), Pent Eistrat (F), Corson Kealey (F) and Parker Pipher (T).

The Knighthawks are slated to open the 2022-23 campaign on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 8:00 p.m. when they visit the Georgia Swarm as part of the league's Face-Off Weekend. Rochester's Home Opener is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10 against the rival Toronto Rock at 7:05 p.m.

Season Tickets for the Knighthawks for the 2022-23 season are on sale now and start as low as $18 per seat per game.
