Knighthawks and Rattlers Attend Local Sports Camp

(Rochester, NY)... Members of the Rochester Knighthawks and Rochester Rattlers lacrosse teams will attend the Open Door Baptist Church Sports Camp this week.

Knighthawk Bill Warder, Rattler Jake Coon and Knighthawk/Rattler Tim Soudan will all make appearances during the week at the church at 350 Chili-Scottsville Road. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon from Monday, August 4th to Friday, August 8th.

Rattlers goalie Jake Coon will visit the camp on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to talk about his life as a professional athlete and collegiate assistant lacrosse coach. On Thursday, local lacrosse legend Tim Soudan will stop by to give a lacrosse demonstration and sign autographs. On Friday, K-Hawk Bill Warder will show off his stick skills to the kids at the camp.

The Rattlers hit the road this week for a 7:30 p.m. game against the Baltimore Bayhawks on Saturday, August 9th. The contest is the ESPN2 Game of the Week and will be televised tape delayed on Tuesday, August 12th at 3:00 p.m. The Rochester Knighthawks open their historic 10th season in late December.
