
Knighthawks Aaron Bold Wins Weekly NLL Award

(Rochester, NY)... Rochester Knighthawks goalie Aaron Bold has been named the National Lacrosse League Overall Player of the Week for his performance on January 30th in a 16-8 win over the first-place Toronto Rock.
During the two-game weekend, he stopped 63 shots in 101 minutes of work and earned a.797 save percentage and a 9.50 goals-against average. On Saturday, he made 39 saves to help the Knighthawks break a two-game losing streak. The 24 year old is second in the NLL with a 9.61 goals-against average. The NLL Weekly Player Awards are determined each week by a vote of the General Managers & Head Coaches of the league's 11 member clubs.
Bold will appear on "Nik and the Knighthawks" at 5:10 p.m. on 94.1 The Zone and thezone941.com. The weekly segment enters its third week on the new radio partner of the Rochester Knighthawks.
Rochester hits the road for a 7:30 p.m. contest on Saturday, February 6th against the Boston Blazers. The game will be broadcast live on The Zone 94.1 FM and thezone941.com. The Knighthawks are back on their home turf on Saturday, February 13th for a 2:05 p.m. contest against the Boston Blazers.
