KiXX Battle Expansion Orlando Sharks Live on FSC on January 25

Philadelphia, PA, January 24, 2008 - The defending Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) Champion Philadelphia KiXX will head south to battle the expansion Orlando Sharks for the club's final regular-season meeting on Friday, January 25 at the Amway Arena. The game will be televised live on the Fox Soccer Channel beginning at 8:00pm ET.
Philadelphia defeated the expansion Sharks by a score of 20-8, thanks to two goals from David Castellanos and Aaron Suis, in the club's most recent meeting on January 11. The defending champs also earned the victory in the previous two head-to-head matchups with Orlando, a 20-4 win on December 15 and 12-8 in Orlando on New Year's Eve. Former KiXX standout Shawn Boney agreed to terms with Orlando in late December and has made his presence felt, registering four goals and three assists in six games.
The club will return home to host former KiXX player/coach Omid Namazi and the New Jersey Ironmen on Sunday, January 25. The contest offers discounts and special-themed promotions for the area's Boy Scouts. Game-time at the Wachovia Spectrum is slated for 4:05 pm ET.
