KIMT Sports Reporter Looking for Love at Friday's Game

Mason City (IA) The North Iowa Outlaws are proud to announce that KIMT weekend sports anchor A.J. Ellingson has decided to take part in a special edition of the "dating game" which will occur during the first intermission of the Outlaws' home game versus Owatonna on Friday night.
Just like the long-running syndicated television version of the show, Ellingson will ask three women a series of questions while not being able to see the contestants. With no visual aid, Ellingson will select the "love of his life" by simply going off the quality of the answers he receives. Ellingson and the woman he selects will then receive a free meal at a local restaurant and night of bowling.
"I'm very excited to have A.J. be a part of this promotion" said Outlaws' spokesperson Scott Montesano. "He's going to make some woman very happy one day."
Ellingson joined KIMT in August 2008 after graduating in May from the University of Iowa. He is a native of West Des Moines, IA and is an active fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, St. Louis Cardinals, Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves. During his time away from KIMT, A.J. loves watching sports and hopes to experience the sports that North Iowa and Southern Minnesota has to offer. A.J. also spends time at the gym, mostly trying to convince himself that he can still drain the three.
The Outlaws and Owatonna Express face-off at 8pm on Friday and the "Dating Game" is just part of an entire night of fan. The first 500 fans will receive a poster courtesy of 102.7 The Blaze, plus there is a special "couples ticket" package where $22 will get a pair two tickets, two beers and two chucks.
The North Iowa Outlaws Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 33nd year of operation. For more information, visit northiowaoutlaws.com or call (641) 424-5468.
