BEES NEED TO KNOW
. Aaron Lee already set the all-time games played record for the Killer Bees and now has the all-time goals record in his sites. Lee has 90 goals as a Killer Bee and the record is 90 held by Bill Newson.
. Dan Gendur has registered two hat tricks this season, Feb. 12 against Tulsa and Feb. 24 against Bloomington. Two hat tricks in one season is believed to be a first for the Bees.
. After the Feb. 24 game against Bloomington coach Terry Ruskowski moved into fourth all-time in games coached in the CHL. Ruskowski has coached 635 CHL games, nine season in Laredo and one with the Bees.
. When the Killer Bees scored their eighth goal against the Laredo Bucks on Feb. 22 it was the most ever allowed by Laredo at the Laredo Energy Arena.
. The Central Hockey League trade deadline has passed with the Bees standing pat. The lone trade this season was with Laredo to acquire the rights to Aaron Boogaard. The 2011-12 season is the first since the 2005-06 campaign in which the Bees made only one trade.
. Once Aaron Lee stepped onto the ice on Jan. 15, Texas history was made. The games was Lee's 224th time donning a Killer Bees sweater, a new franchise record. Lee passed Ryan Shymr.
