Kids Club Announced; Tryouts Next Week; Game Tonight

Amarillo, TX - The Amarillo ThunderHeads have announced The Storm Chasers Kids Club. Named after the team's new mascot, Storm, the kids club will include 10 box tickets, cupcakes from Cakes'N More, happy birthday announcement from the PA announcer and a visit from Storm. Additional perks will be available by way of upgrade. Details can be found at GoThunderHeads.com.

Manager Bobby Brown is on his way to Amarillo and will be in the office next week, preparing for tryouts Saturday, May 9 as well as getting things ready for his guys to start reporting. Tryouts will begin at 9 a.m. next Saturday. Those interested can still register online at GoThunderHeads.com or at ThunderHeads Stadium that morning. The fee is $50.

Another exciting high school baseball game is on tap this afternoon ThunderHeads Stadium with the Pampa Harvesters squaring off against the Friona Chieftains. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Tickets will be $5 for adults, $3 for kids and can be purchased at the gate. Concessions will be open serving soda, water, snacks, candy and pizza.
