Bradenton, FL - The Marauders (30-35) collected 12 hits but fell 2-1 to the Tampa Yankees (31-34) at McKechnie Field on Tuesday night. 1B Edwin Espinal went 4-for-4 with a double in defeat.
LHP Jayson Aquino tossed seven innings and struck out five. Aquino gave up a home run to the first batter of the game and a two out rally for a run in the second. RHP Henry Hirsch tossed two scoreless innings out of the bullpen and struck out three.
LF Barrett Barnes hit his fourth home run of the season to tie the score in the first.
