Kevin Sundher Reassigned to Amerks from WHL's Brandon Wheat Kings

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans announced today that forward Kevin Sundher has been reassigned to the Amerks from the Brandon Wheat Kings of the Western Hockey League (WHL). Sundher signed an entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres on Dec. 15, 2011.

Sundher (5'11", 184 lbs., 1/18/92) recently completed his fifth season in the WHL, where he totaled 75 points (26+49) in 58 combined regular season games with the Victoria Royals and Brandon Wheat Kings. He also recorded three points (1+2) in nine playoff games for Brandon.

In 273 career WHL games with Brandon, Victoria and Chilliwack, the native of Surrey, British Columbia, registered 252 points (94+158) and 327 penalty minutes. Sundher was Buffalo's third-round draft pick (75th overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
