Kerry Robinson Added to STL Legends Game Roster

O'FALLON, MO- The River City Rascals are excited to announce another former Cardinal to the 2017 Saint Louis Legends Game line-up, presented by Pella Windows and Doors. Kerry Robinson will join the illustrious roster which includes Jim Edmonds, Skip Schumaker, Rick Ankiel, Fernando Tatis, John Tudor, Brad Thompson, and Jason Isringhausen as well as several local celebrities and more legends to come.

Robinson a St. Louis native, graduated from Hazelwood East High School as a three sport star. He attended Southeast Missouri State University where he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 34th round of the 1995 MLB June Amateur Draft. After being traded to Tampa Bay, Robinson made his pro debut with the Devil Rays in 1998. Robinson signed back with the Cardinals in 2001, spending three seasons with the Redbirds. He is most remembered by Cardinals fans for his game-winning, walk-off home run against the Chicago Cubs in 2003. Throughout Robinsons seven year MLB career he played for the Rays, Reds, Cardinals, Padres and Royals organizations holding a career .267 batting average, 3 homeruns, 56 RBIs and 36 stolen bases. Robinson is currently working as a professional scout for the St. Louis Cardinals

The STL Legends game is taking place on Saturday, August 19th, at CarShield Field. The gates will open at 10:45 AM for the sold out pre-game autograph meet and greet. At noon, the gates will open for general public entry. The seven-inning game will begin at 1 PM.
