Kelowna Falcons News Release

Bremerton, WA: The Kelowna Falcons won their third straight series after a 6-1 victory in Kitsap on Monday night.

The Falcons would score two in the top of the first after an RBI from Andrew Firth and an unearned run. Those two runs would be all the Falcons would need.

However they would add two more runs in the third and two in the fifth to clinch the series and have beaten the Bluejackets five out of six times this year.

The third inning runs were courtesy of a Kyle Pearson two-run homerun, his first of the year. It's the Falcons second homer in as many nights.

In the fifth Greg Friesen would knock in two more runs with a one out triple.

David Ernst recorded his first win of the summer, throwing six shutout innings. He would allow four hits while striking out six.

The Falcons will now host their division rival the Walla Walla Sweets in a four game series beginning on Tuesday night at Elks Stadium. The first 250 fans will receive a complimentary Falcons team poster courtesy of Arby's and Menzies Graphics Group. Gates open at 5:30, first pitch at 6:35pm.
