New Jersey Jackals News Release

Little Falls, NJ- John Kelly was almost untouchable versus the Jackals, en route to a 2-0 North Shore victory.

The Spirit went ahead early versus the Jackals. Nilton Teilon singled. The next batter Vic Davilla singled, and on the relay throw, the ball was bobbled in the infield. Teilson alertly broke for home plate, and Juan Infante threw a strike to the catcher Jay LaFlair, which was dropped, allowing Teilon to score.

North Shore added a run of insurance in the top of the ninth. Davilla doubled to start the inning. With one out, Frank Charles doubled down the third base line, scoring Davilla, making it a 2-0 ballgame.

Jackals starter Jackson Crowther was awarded a very difficult loss. He pitched nine innings, giving up six hits, two runs, and only one earned run.
