Chicago Rush News Release
Former Chicago Bears star Keith Van Horne and former Cleveland Browns quarterback - and current president of the Cleveland Gladiators - Bernie Kosar will sign autographs Friday night at the Chicago Rush home opener, the Rush announced today.
Van Horne and Kosar will be stationed at the Gridiron Greats Assistant Fund booth in the Allstate Arena concourse beginning at 6 p.m. when the arena doors open. Both Van Horne and Kosar will sign autographs from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Van Horne will return to the booth to sign autographs at halftime. All autographs are free, but limited to one per fan.
The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund (GGAF) is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) corporation, established to provide financial assistance and coordinate social services to dire need retired NFL players who are pioneers of the game and have greatly contributed to the NFL's status as the most popular sport in America.
Thanks to Mike Ditka's involvement as owner of the Rush and member of the GGAF's Board of Directors, Gridiron Greats will have a presence at each Rush home game, staffing a booth in the concourse with GGAF merchandise for sale to benefit the charity. In addition, GGAF will have former NFL stars, like Van Horne and Kosar, make appearances to sign autographs throughout the season.
Good seats for Friday's home opener remain available. Fans wishing to purchase tickets should call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or visit the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets - which range in price from $10 to $60 - also may be purchased in person at any Ticketmaster outlet or the Allstate Arena box office.
