Today, you can make a difference in the life of a child at Children's Hospital and Health Center! It only takes a few minutes, and you can feel like a real hero.
I ask you to join me in supporting kids who are hurt or sick through the Heroes for Children's campaign. Why get involved? It's as easy as 1-2-3:
1. It's really easy. Just click on this link to the San Diego Riptide Team Heroes Page and join the team. And if you'd like a little help, Children's staff is there for you. Our team page automatically tracks how we're doing, and Children's helps you stay on track to meet your goals.
2. It's really effective. We can raise more money for Children's â and do more for kids â by being a Hero than we could ever be able to give ourselves. In fact, every dollar raised is being matched, so it's doubly important.
3. It's really important. These kids need us. Just think, every day, over 1,000 kids come to Children's â a nonprofit hospital â and they all get the best treatment, no matter what, regardless of ability to pay. Children come first there, and we must be ready to help every child in need.
