K & K Insurance to present UIF awards

Omaha, NE - United Indoor Football (UIF) announced today that K & K Insurance, headquartered in Fort Wayne, IN, will sponsor the Casey's All-Star Classic awards banquet Thursday, August 16. That evening UIF will bestow its annual honors in several categories including the highly coveted Man of the Year award.

For more than 50 years, K & K Insurance has been recognized as the leading provider of sports, leisure and entertainment insurance products. K & K Chief Marketing Officer, Lou Valentic says being involved in the All-Star Classic is a way to say thank you. "We like to give back to the franchise owners and directors that choose to get their insurance through us."

Valentic says it's also an opportunity to publicize K & K. "It's a way for us to get our name out in the public with a regional event." He notes K & K's success is based on experience. "What we bring to the table is knowledge and service."

UIF Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Mike Schmitz, says it's great to have K & K Insurance as a major part of the All-Star Classic Weekend. "K & K plays an integral role in each of our teams' operations. It's great to have them so involved with our end of the year showcase."

While the Casey's All-Star Classic game will showcase UIF play, the 2007 UIF Awards Banquet Presented by K & K Insurance will hand out several awards for players, coaches, dance teams, mascots, front office personnel and the media. The evening's festivities will also include a keynote address and entertainment.

The Casey's All-Star Classic will include several events for players, coaches and fans. The All-Star Classic game will kickoff at 7:05 p.m. CDT, Saturday, August 18, at U.S. Cellular Coliseum.
