Justin Carbonneau Named Vidéotron Player of the Week

Blainville-Boisbriand Armada winger Justin Carbonneau takes home the latest Videotron Player of the Week honors in the QMJHL. The 17-year-old from Levis, Quebec scored three times and added four assists as the Armada went 2-1-0-0 on the week during a Maritimes road trip.
On Thursday night in Saint John, Carbonneau scored once and added a pair of assists, including a helper on the eventual game-winner, as the Armada rallied from a first period deficit to down the Sea Dogs by a score of 5-2. The sophomore forward, who also finished with a +1 rating, was named the game's second star.
The following night in Bathurst, Carbonneau kept finding the back of the net. After opening the scoring just over two minutes into the contest, he would net his second of the game on the man advantage midway through the second period. The evening ended with the Armada earning a 4-1 triumph over the Titan and Carbonneau skating away with first star honors for the game.
On Saturday night in Charlottetown, the Armada concluded its demanding road trip with a 4-2 loss to the Islanders. Despite the defeat, Carbonneau remained a force, assisting on both Blainville tallies, en route to being named third star on the evening.
Carbonneau currently sits second in scoring on the Armada with 42 points, including 22 goals, in 53 games. Acquired by Blainville-Boisbriand during last year's trade deadline, he was originally drafted in the second round by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in 2022.
