With her second basket of the night at the 6:45 minute mark of the first quarter, Sylvia Fowles became just the fifth player In WNBA history to make 2,500+ field goals over her career.

Fowles finished with 16 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field, four of those field goals came in the first quarter, topping her previous season-high three made field goals in the first quarter. Fowles grabbed nine rebounds, had three assists, one block and one steal in 22:28 minutes of action.
Leading Minnesota for the third time this season, Moriah Jefferson tallied her fifth 20+ scoring game finishing with 22 points on 9-of-14 shooting. Jefferson had four assists, one rebound and one block.
Team Notes
Minnesota held Los Angeles to just 12 third quarter points, tying the Sparks season-low in points in the third and marking the lowest amount of points by any Minnesota opponent in the third quarter this season.
Minnesota shot 31-of-57 from the field, 54.4%, marking the fifth time in franchise history that the Lynx have shot 54% or better in consecutive games.
The Lynx outrebounded the Sparks 38-29, marking the 23rd time this season that Minnesota has outrebounded their 31 opponents. Minnesota dominated the boards in the season-series with Los Angeles, 103-80.
Tonight's victory marks just the third time in Lynx history, and the first time since 2016 that Minnesota swept Los Angeles on the road (2022, 2016 and 2014).
Minnesota held Los Angeles to just 30-of-83 shooting from the field, 36.1%, and improve to 142-6 since the beginning of 2011 when holding their opponent under 40% shooting.
The Lynx close out their three-game road trip in Seattle on Wednesday, Aug 3 against the Seattle Storm. Tipoff is slated for 9:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast on Bally Sports North
