Juggernaut to Appear at NCSOA Dinner

New York, NY – May 26, 2005 – Head Coach and General Manager of the New York Juggernaut, Julie Smith, is set to speak at the Nassau County Softball Officials Association on Tuesday, June 7th. The Officials dinner is taking place at HR Singleton's Restaurant in Bethpage at 7:00 p.m. Julie Smith, 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist, will be speaking about Professional Softball and what the fans can expect from the New York Juggernaut in the 2005 season. Alicia Smith, NY Juggernaut outfielder and former Hofstra standout, will also be present to answer any questions.

The New York Juggernaut, reigning 2004 NPF Champions, are ready to begin their second season in the National Professional Fastpitch. The New York Juggernaut roster is comprised of athletes with remarkable experience, including 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Natasha Watley. Returning for the Juggernaut this season is 2004 NPF All-Star and Long Island native Jackie Pasquerella. Another familiar face returning to the Hofstra Softball Stadium is former Hofstra Standout Alicia Smith. The New York Juggernaut anticipates the beginning of another successful season.

The New York Juggernaut has named Hofstra University as their home site for the 2005 season.
