
Juan David Mosquera, Santiago Moreno Called up to Colombian National Team Training Camp

PORTLAND, Ore. - Timbers defender Juan David Mosquera and midfielder Santiago Moreno were called into Colombia's National Team training camp in October, the Colombian Football Federation announced today.
Mosquera and Moreno will join the senior team in Barranquilla, Colombia, from Oct. 18 to Oct. 20.
Mosquera, 19, appeared with the Colombia U-17 Men's National Team at the 2019 South American U-17 Championship in Lima, Peru and has also been named to the roster of Colombia's U-20 training camps. The callup is his first of his career with the senior team.
Moreno, 22, will join the senior team for the second time in his career, having been previously called into camp in February of 2021, but has yet to earn a cap. Moreno was one of two players to appear in every match for Portland (34) and led the Timbers with 22 points (7g, 8a) in the 2022 campaign.
