Tri-City Diesel running back Sherman Jones has been selected as the Week 2 Offensive Player of the Week for the Pacific Conference of the National Indoor Football League.
The selection comes after Jones's record-setting performance in the Diesel's win against the Oklahoma Crude last weekend. Jones rushed for four touchdowns and a team record 87 yards against the Crude.
The LaCrosse Night Train will be in Kearney for the Diesel home opener this Saturday night with kickoff at 7:35 p.m. This weekend's game also marks the beginning of play within the Pacific North division for the Diesel.
