Edmonton Oil Kings News Release
(EDMONTON, AB) - The Edmonton Oil Kings are striving to bring the community together (while we're forced to be apart) by engaging with fans in the city in a unique and memorable way.
The (Oil) King of the Jungle himself, Louie the Lion, will continue visiting various areas of the city Tuesday, May 12 when he will be walking the streets of the Sherwood Heights neighbourhood from 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM MT.
Louie is encouraging fans to wave from their windows, cheer from their porches or air-five from their front yards (while maintaining a socially-acceptable distance of at least six feet/two metres apart).
Fans can nominate their neighbourhood by visiting @EdmOilKings on social media and telling us where and why their community should be the next stop for a future visit from Louie.
If you are able to join us and lend coverage to this feel-good event, the starting point of the route will be at Pine Street Elementary School at 1:00 PM MT.
