Games One and Two of the Western Conference Finals between the Alaska Aces and the Victoria Salmon Kings are tonight and tomorrow at 7:15pm at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage. In support of the Aces run towards the 2011 Kelly Cup, the Aces are calling for a White Out at the Sully for Games One and Two. Fans are encouraged to dress in white for the pair of games. Additionally, the Aces will be giving away 3,000 white rally towels, courtesy of EP Roofing, at each game. Tickets for both Wednesday and Thursday night's game are still available at the Aces office, the Sullivan Arena Box Office, Fred Meyer Locations, or at www.ticketmaster.com. The top-seeded Aces went 8-5 against Victoria this season, including a 5-2 record in games played in Anchorage. Alaska last met Victoria in the finale of the regular season in a 4-1 win that clinched their second-ever Brabham Cup Championship for earning the ECHL's best record throughout the regular season. Both the Aces and Salmon Kings arrived in the Conference Finals via a sweep in the most recent round of the playoffs. Alaska ousted Idaho in four games, while Victoria swept through Utah. This series marks the third time the Aces and the Salmon Kings are meeting in the post-season, with Alaska having claimed each of the first two series victories. In 2007 Alaska dispatched of the Salmon Kings in six games in the opening round of the playoffs, and in 2009 the Aces knocked off the Salmon Kings in five games in the Conference Semi-finals en route to the Kelly Cup Finals.
