Atlanta Vision News Release

It is reported in the Boston Globe that Boston Celtic ballplayer Paul Pierce has endorsed former Celtic great Dennis Johnson to be the Head Coach if the job becomes open. Dennis Johnson said he will accept the call, if it comes, to become Head coach of the Boston Celtics for 2004-05.

This will effect the ABA Gwinnett Gwizzlies because Dennis Johnson is the Team adviser to the Gwizzlies.

"Without the ABA league officials and Dennis Johnson, I doubt it would have ever been a Gwinnett Gwizzlies franchise," says Gwizzlies CEO Embry Malone. "I have known Dennis since our junior year in college at Pepperdine University."

"How can you replace greatness and 29 years of NBA work as a ballplayer and a NBA Head Coach?"
