Fargo (ND) Fargo-Moorhead Jets' forward Rob Johnson (Duluth, MN) recorded four-assists in two games last weekend and for his efforts, was named the North American Hockey League's Central Division player of the week.
Johnson picked up three-assists in the FM Jets' 5-4 overtime win over Bismarck on Oct. 13. He then assisted on the game winning goal in the 4-2 win on Oct. 14.
Through 10 games, Johnson has 11 points (3 goals). Last season with Des Moines of the United States Hockey League, Johnson had 12 points (5 goals) in the regular season.
The FM Jets are currently in a three-way tie for first place in the North American Hockey League's Central Division at 7-4-0. They are on the road on Friday and Saturday night against the North Iowa Outlaws in Mason City, IA. Face-off is 7:05pm both nights. This is the only weekend until Dec. 22-23 that the FM Jets don't have at least one home game.
