
John Ramistella Traded to Nashua

The Chillicothe Paints Professional Baseball Club announced on Wednesday that hard-slugging outfielder, John "Rambo" Ramistella has been traded to the Nashua Pride of the independent professional Can-Am League for outfielder, Sean Dobson and a player to be named later.
Ramistella played two years for the Paints and was a key factor in Chillicothe's back-to-back East Division playoff championships. During his two-year stint in Chillicothe, Rambo belted 33 homers, 40 doubles and was credited with a combined 133 RBI. He also was a major threat on the base paths, swiping 73 bases in two seasons.
Dobson, age 24, was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004 and played two seasons with the New Jersey Cardinals of the New Your-Penn League. He was released by the Cardinals in 2006 and signed with the Nashua Pride.
The 5-10, 180 lb. centerfielder hit .273 for the Pride with 32 RBI and 14 stolen bases.
Dobson is a native of Eastpointe, Michigan.
