John Pagel Scholarship Unveiled

The Green Bay Gamblers and Pagel's Ponderosa Dairy LLC are proud to introduce the John Pagel scholarship. John was the owner of Pagel's Ponderosa, the largest family owned dairy farm in Wisconsin. John was dedicated to the dairy community founding various dairy associations and cooperatives. John touched the lives of countless people personally and professionally through his friendship, willingness to help and public service. He loved farming side by side with his children and beamed with pride over them and his grandchildren. In them, he saw a bright and secure future and a lasting family legacy.
To be eligible, student must be a senior in high school and plan on studying Agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, Conservation, Horticulture, or a separate field connected to agriculture in college. Essay winner receives a $3,000 scholarship. Essay question:
"Why I want to work in Agriculture?"
Essay to be 500 words or less. Completed essays to be sent to the following email: jeff.mitchell@gamblershockey.com Deadline is March 29, 2019. Essay winner will be contacted on April 2. Winner will be recognized at the Dairy Day hockey game on Sunday, April 7.
The 9th Annual Dairy Day is Sunday, April 7, 3:05 PM at the Resch Center. All FFA students and faculty receive a complimentary ticket to the game. Wear FFA apparel and or present FFA credentials at the Resch Center box office to receive a free ticket.
