Reno 1868 FC News Release
RENO, Nev. - Reno 1868 FC's USL eCup squad is back in action next week, taking on Tacoma Defiance in the second of three group stage games. For game two, Reno's representative will be podcast host and 1868 supporter John Macaluso.
"We had a successful outing in the first game, and obviously would love to keep that going into game two," said Reno's captain Kevin Bass. "More importantly though, we want to give our fans and our community another fun show."
Reno won the first group stage game earlier this week, with Matt Rafferty winning 14-0, 5-0 over North Carolina FC. The win put Reno into first place in the group with three points, taking the goal differential tie breaker over Tacoma. The Defiance topped Louisville City FC in their first game.
The game kicks off Monday at 5:00 p.m. PT, and will be streamed on ESPN.com and the ESPN app. Reno is playing in support of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, and fans are encouraged to donate here.
