Jim Fyffe Statement from Wardogs
May 15, 2003 - arenafootball2 (af2)
Columbus Wardogs News Release
Jim was not only a solid announcer, but a wonderful person and a good friend. Despite all his success, he never had the ego that might accompany some big-time announcers. He was the nicest guy you'd ever meet, and more than happy to talk sports with anyone.
When the Wardogs were searching for our first radio and TV announcer, we needed someone that was a real professional, with a lot of credibility who would represent our organization with dignity and class. Jim brought all of that to the table and we never considered anyone else for the job.
The Wardogs were honored to have Jim as our annnouncer for two seasons. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jim's wife and family.
