Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release

Thursday Night In a game where nobody seemed to be alert on both sides of the puck for the Jets, it was Robby Moss (St. Louis, MO) of North Iowa who got it done in the creasefor the win.

In the first it was all North Iowa as they scored two goals in the first 10 minutes from Travis Peckskamp (Sauk Rapids, MN) and Alex Carlson (Owatonna, MN) making it2-0 early. The Outlaws would use different tactics to disrupt the Jets on the power-play and build a 3-0 lead after one period.

Same old song and dance as North Iowa continued to move the puck on a heartless defense that seems unwilling to fight back. Joe Harcharik (Des Moines, IA) added his second goal on the night cushioning the lead 4-0 and putting the game out of reach ending the second.

The third period was dominated by the Outlaws as another goal was added empty netted by Ross King-Jarvi (Anoka, MN) and Moss carried the torch for his ninth win of the season.

North Iowa is the first team in the Central to reach double digits in the win column at 10-2-1, 19 points and first place. The Jets meanwhile fall to 4-3-1 here at home and 8-7-1, 17 points and second place.

The Jets finish off their two gamer with the Outlaws on Friday at 7:35pm. Catch all the action on 103.9 "The Truck" and fmjets.com starting at 7:15pm for "Open Skate," the official pre-game show.

Friday Night It was a typical night in the crease for North Iowa Outlaws' tender Robby Moss (St. Louis, MO) as he added to his scoreless streak of 120 minutes while picking up his 10th win.

In the first it was Krystian Dzuibinski (Poland) who got the show on the road 6:23 in, making 1-0. The Jets would come away empty after making some great plays returned with great saves by Moss.

The second started with another goal by Dziubinski as he kept the Jets at bay making it a clean cut 2-0 ending the period.

With even more spit and fire to open the third it was Elliot Okland (Fargo, ND) who turned aside five shots keeping the game in reach but all would be lost. Max Mobley (Glendale, AZ) put the nail in the coffin with nine minutes to play. It would be Moss who made every save possible picking up the win and giving his team a cushion atop the division.

The Jets fall to 8-8-1, 17 points and third in the division while North Iowa moves to 11-2-1, 23 points and alone in first place.

Star Watch Marc Mihulka leads the Jets with 19 points (6G, 13A) and Robby Philipp not far behind with 16 points (7G, 9A).
