Jets Sign Grand Forks native

Fargo (ND) The Fargo-Moorhead Jets announced the signing of former Grand Forks Central standout Matt Moreland this week. Moreland is currently enrolled at the University of North Dakota, and was recommended to the Jets by Fighting Sioux head Dave Haksol.

"We are very excited to have Matt join our team" Jets' head coach Todd Knott says. "He has been on our radar for a while."

Moreland is a 6'0" 185 forward.

The Jets are home this Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm against Minnesota and Bismarck respectively. Entering this weekend the Jets are at 12-4-1, and in a four-way tie for first place in the North American Hockey League's West Division.
