May 1, 2006 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Fargo-Moorhead Jets News Release

Fargo (ND) The Fargo-Moorhead Jets are proud to announce that they have had their fourth player of the season verbally commit to a Division I hockey program. Three-year veteran Bob Preece (Bonita Springs, FL) will be going to Bentley College in Eastern Massachusetts beginning next fall.

The Falcons are members of the Atlantic Hockey League and already have two other former FM Jets on their roster in Dain Prewitt and Tom Dickhudt. Preece will be joining a team that went 15-7-5 in 2005-2006.

Preece recently concluded his junior hockey career with the FM Jets having played in more games (172) and committing more penalty minutes (518) then any other player in the history of junior hockey in Fargo-Moorhead. He ended this season with 36 points (5 goals) and 198 PIM during the regular season and postseason combined.

Preece joins Ryan Cramer (Bemidji State), Phil Fox (Northern Michigan) and Kai Kantola (Bowling Green) as the other FM Jets who have committed this season. That brings the total to 13 former FM Jets who have moved on to Division I hockey

The FM Jets recently finished their third season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 30th year of operation.

Jets home games are played at the John E. Carlson Coliseum in Fargo, ND. All games are broadcast at 103.9 THE TRUCK and fmjets.com.
