Newark, NJ. The ABA Jersey Express has been invited to participate in the fourth annual Family Festival Street Fair sponsored by ESPN in New York City on Saturday, May 1st. Joining organizations like the NHL New York Islanders and New York Rangers, NBA New York Knicks, MLB New York Mets, NFL New York Giants and New York Jets, WNBA New York Liberty as well as the ESPN X Games and BMX Bike Jump,
Olympian Shaun White Snowboarding Experience, the USTA Junior Tennis League, Arena Football League and others, the Express will be a major part of the action-packed community event that has drawn upwards of 300,000 attendees each year. As a participant, you can be a part of this unique downtown celebration that connects families, films and sports fun for the entire family.
"We're very excited to be a part of this event - especially the basketball part - as our ABA red, white and blue balls will be featured in all of the games that day," stated Marsha Blount, Jersey Express co-owner. "There will be an exciting BMX Stunt Show, special appearances by athletes, dance teams, mascots and sports personalities - and it will be covered by ESPN. It is really an exciting day."
