Morristown, NJ. The ABA Jersey Express professional basketball team has named the Morristown Neighborhood House as its "Official Charity" for the 2008-2009 season.
The Morristown Neighborhood House will act as a conduit for our season ticket drive. Supporters and fans will be able to reserve their season tickets at the Neighborhood House, located at 12 Flagler Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
All season tickets sold thru the Morristown Neighborhood House, either through our Intern Partnership with them, or by visiting the Neighborhood House, will go towards our charitable contribution to Mr. Steve Neblett, Assistant Executive Director of the facility.
The Jersey Express will contribute 10% of ALL Season Tickets sold through the Morristown Neighborhood House to the Morristown Neighborhood House. "Every year we will choose a different charity to contribute to and the Neighborhood House will act as our very first benefactor," stated co-owner Marsha Blount.
The Neighborhood House offers recreational, education, cultural and social service programs to the community with a special emphasis on pre-school, school age children and parents. Each day, more than 500 children attend House Programs together with parents, volunteers, community organizations and local residents using the facility.
