Jersey Express Host Back-to-Back Home Games

December 13, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Jersey Express News Release

Madison, NJ - The Jersey Express will host back-to-back home games this weekend. Drew University will be rocking on Saturday night at 7pm, when the Jersey Express holds court with the Westchester Phantoms. On Sunday the Express will tip-off at 4pm and take on cross division rival, the Boston Blizzard.

The Westchester Phantoms are led by Head Coach, and WNBA Legend Teresa Weatherspoon. The Phantoms come in at 4-3 on the season, and look to defeat the Express on its home court. "This is developing into an exciting rivalry, with both teams notching wins against each other this season. Anytime you play a team in your division, and have the NY/NJ basketball community involved, it can be nothing but intense.

On Sunday the Boston Blizzard will make there way to Drew to take on the Express. This will be the only NJ meeting for the Blizzard this season. Boston comes in at 4-5, and plays in the North division. "We get them again in January in Boston, so we need to hold onto our home court advantage", stated Jersey Express GM Jacqui Halyard.

Saturday night's game will feature a half-time demonstration from Tiger Schullmann's Karate of NJ. On Sunday, we will have Florham Park, Day. We invite everyone from Florham Park to come out and be recognized. Participate in our fan participation games, and win a chance to play one on one with your favorite Express player.

The Jersey Express is currently 4-2 on the season, and is riding a 3 game winning streak.
