New Hampshire Fisher Cats News Release


Manchester, NH- The Toronto Blue Jays announced today that OF Jason Waugh has been activated from the disabled list and transferred to Triple-A Syracuse.

The 25-year-old Waugh was placed on the New Hampshire Fisher Cats disabled list on July 10 with a leg contusion. He had played in 13 games with New Hampshire during the 2005 season, hitting .175 with 0 home runs and 4 RBI. Waugh also appeared in 21 games for Hi-A Dunedin, where he hit .307 with 0 home runs and 10 RBI. Waugh was selected by Toronto in the 11th round of the 2002 draft.
