JAMESTOWN, N.Y. - The Jamestown Jammers have announced their schedule for the 2012 season. Opening Day for the Jammers is Monday June 18th against the Mahoning Valley Scrappers at Diethrick Park at 7:05 p.m.
The 38 regular season game homes will span from June 18th to September 5th. There are 6 Friday night games and 5 Saturday night home games. Tentative promotional highlights this season will be the return of Fireworks nights, Dollar nights and another Lucy-Desi kickoff celebration.
The Jammers will serve their 10th season in 2012 as a Miami Marlins affiliate. The Jammers are proud of the relationship and of the many big leaguers that got their start in Jamestown. The list includes current players such as Logan Morrison, Mike Stanton and Gaby Sanchez just to name a few. Also, stay tuned the Jammers will soon be announcing the guest speakers for their 8th annual Hot Stove Dinner set to take place at the Lakewood Rod & Gun Club on Monday January 16th.
