Jamestown Jammers News Release
The Rich Products-owned Single-A Jamestown Jammers will host the Batavia Muckdogs FRIDAY at 7:05 p.m. at Diethrick Park in Game 1 of the best of three-game NY-Penn League Championship Series.
Jamestown is just two wins away from capturing their first NY-Penn League Title in franchise history. Fans interested in tickets to Friday's series opener can call the Jammers at (716) 664-0915.
The Jammers, short-season affiliate of the Florida Marlins, won the NY-Penn League wild card spot with a 47-29 record this season. They swept the Staten Island Yankees, 2-0, in the first round of the playoffs.
The Jammers are one of three minor league teams owned by Rich Products that make up Rich Baseball Operations. Along with the Jammers and the Buffalo Bisons are the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the Double-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
In their inaugural season at Arvest Ballpark, the Naturals qualified for the Texas League playoffs by winning the North division in the second half. However, the Naturals fell in the opening round of the post-season to the Arkansas Travelers.
