FC Montreal News Release

MONTREAL - FC Montreal announced Tuesday that the team has signed Cameroon international forward Jacques Haman.

The 21 year-old forward from Cameroon spent over a month training with the club before his signing.

"Jacques Haman is a pure forward that likes to play," explained FC Montreal head coach Philippe Eulllaffroy. "He has a profile that we like in the club. He is fast and manages well in front of the net. He's a great addition considering we are lacking efficiency in front of goal. We are happy for FC Montreal but also for the club to have signed a young 20 year-old player with a lot of potential."

Previously, Haman played 87 games for Coton Sport in Garoua, Cameroon, scoring 39 goals. He was also selected by the Cameroon national first team, playing two games and scoring one goal. Before that, he played for the Cameroon national U17 team (three games, one goal), the U20 (six games, two goals) and the U23 (five games, two goals).

FC Montreal also released three USL players; Frank Zoué, Emad Houache and Jonathan Vallée.
