Published on May 26, 2010 under Arena Football League (AFL) News Release
TULSA - The Jacksonville Sharks thrash their way to first place, receiving 12 votes after a close win against Cleveland. The Milwaukee Iron fell to Orlando, dropping from the top spot to No. 2. Right behind Milwaukee is the Spokane Shock moving up to No. 3. The Shock will play Jacksonville at home Saturday.
The Tulsa Talons move back up to No. 4 after another home win against in-state rival Oklahoma City. Chicago falls to its lowest ranking this season at No. 5 even after a win at Dallas. The Iron, Shock and Rush are all 5-2 this season and looking to catch back up with the Sharks. The Alabama Vipers and Arizona Rattlers both jump up two spots after wins.
The Cleveland Gladiators fall the most in Week 8, plunging out of the top five to No. 8. Also dropping is the Tampa Bay Storm after a touchdown in the final seconds barely gave them a win at Bossier-Shreveport.
