Jacks Look to Cool off Both Bombers & Fans This Weekend

July 12, 2013 - Texas Collegiate League (TCL)
East Texas PumpJacks News Release

With the excitement of the TCL All-Star Game still fresh in their minds, fans must now turn their attention to the heat of the playoff chase. The stretch run begins in earnest this weekend, when the East Texas Pump Jacks welcome the first-place Brazos Valley Bombers to historic Driller Park.

Knowing that second half of the season - not to mention the summer - can make fans a little hot under the collar, the Pump Jacks are hosting Personal LED Message Fan Giveaway Night on Saturday, presented by Convergys. The first 500 fans will receive a personal-size fan with the Pump Jacks' "angry Boomer" logo on the front. These fans are pocket-size and great to take anywhere it might get a little toasty.

Better yet, when the fan is turned on, it lights up with messages that celebrate the Jacks' TCL title or fans' East Texas attitude, along with "Go Pump Jacks!" The fan is a great way to keep cool no matter where you are, and let people know you're a Pump Jacks fan, too!

Sunday is marks the return of Sunday Fun Day with the Jacks, presented by theGOspot.com. Enjoy $2.50 chips and salsa or $2.50 frozen margaritas and Straw-ber-ritas for the weekend event. Kids can enjoy face painting and the return of the Water Gun Battle, a favorite on-field contest.

Tickets can be purchased online at pumpjacksbaseball.com, in person at the Pump Jacks office at 106 North Kilgore Street, #201, in downtown Kilgore, by phone at (903) 218-4638 , or at the ticket office at Driller Park the night of the game.
