
Jacks Collect 700 Teddy Bears from Teddy Bear Toss

Odessa, Texas - The Odessa Jackalopes, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are excited to announce that the team collected over 700 Teddy Bears from Saturday nights Teddy Bear Toss and its jersey auction raised over $6,000 for the Permian Panther Booster Club.
Jackalopes staff will pass out the collected stuffed animals to both the ORMC and Rays of Hope Children's Grief Centre in Midland. The Bears will provide a gift for children in the area who otherwise would not receive anything for the holidays. The Permian Panther Jersey auction raised $6,000 for the Permian Panther Booster Club that will help band members with travel costs to an upcoming trip to New York, plus, help with the purchase of new instruments.
Odessa is off for the holidays and doesn't resume the season until Dec. 29-30 when the team travels out to Corpus. The next home game for the Jacks is Jan. 1-2 against he Lone Star Brahmas.
In 2015-16, the Odessa Jackalopes will embark upon their fifth season in the North American Hockey League and 19th in the Permian Basin. Season tickets are on sale now!
