JOLIET, IL - Families throughout the Joliet area will be "hopping" over to Silver Cross Field March 31 for the Joliet JackHammers ticket sales kickoff celebration featuring an Easter egg hunt, raffle prizes, and fun for the whole family.
Single game tickets for the Joliet JackHammers will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 31. The kickoff celebration will last from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with live coverage by Todd Boss, WSSR-FM 96.7 starting at 9:30 a.m.
The Easter egg hunt will get underway at 10:30 a.m., led by the loveable Jammer. He'll be wearing bunny ears for the occasion. Children will have the chance to hunt for thousands of hidden eggs. Easter eggs will contain great prizes, including Pro Shop gift certificates and discounts as well as fun giveaways for the kids.
But this event isn't just for the children- it will also feature hourly raffles, giving visitors multiple chances to win many exciting prizes. The "can't miss" raffle prizes will include a 22-person luxury suite, 25 DesRochers Spa & Party Patio (hot tub) tickets, box seat tickets and the opportunity to throw the first pitch during a regular season home game.
Tickets for the 2007 Budweiser "Gridiron on the Diamond" event (formerly the Budweiser Legends Game) will also go on sale March 31. The event will feature former Chicago Bears players against former Green Bay Packers players in a celebrity softball game at Silver Cross Field July 28.
As an added bonus, on March 31 only, everything in the Pro Shop will be 25% off with no limit on items!
Come rain or shine - we'll move the fun to the concourse level in the event of inclement weather.
