Odessa Jackalopes News Release

(Odessa, TX) - The Odessa Jackalopes announce today that they will play a pair of Central Hockey League exhibition games against the Tulsa Oilers on October 8th and October 10th at the Ector County Coliseum.

The Jackalopes, who captured the CHL's Southwest Division title last season, begin training camp on October 5th also at the Coliseum. The team's training camp roster will be released in September.

"The two exhibitions will help our coaching staff tremendously in evaluating the talent we have in training camp," said Jackalopes General Manager Joe Clark. "We really like a competitive team like Tulsa coming in here, especially since they are out of our conference and we don't see them a lot. It should be a treat for our fans."

For season-ticket holders, tickets for the exhibition games will be built into all season-ticket books, which will be disbursed at the Jackalopes' taste-testing event for season-ticket holders on October 6th.

Non-season ticket holders can purchase tickets for the two exhibition games beginning September 7th. Ticket prices for all seating for the two games will be $8 and parking will be free.

The Odessa Jackalopes are the Central Hockey League affiliate for the NHL's New York Islanders and the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team will begin its 13th season in October. Season tickets, mini-plans, and single game tickets are available by calling (432) 552-PUCK or visiting jackalopes.org.
