It's the Last Chance to be a Pioneer in 2008

(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are excited to announce that they will be holding their third and final open tryout for the upcoming 2008 season on Sunday, March 2, 2008. The roster is getting filled and the spots are few. Head Coach Rich Ingold strongly encourages all interested players to attend the tryout, because with training camp starting March 8, this will be the last chance to tryout for the 2007 American Conference Champion Pioneers.

The tryout will take place at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome in Wilkes-Barre, PA and will begin promptly at 10:00a.m. Registration will begin at 9:00a.m. and a registration fee of $50 cash is required upon arrival. Coach Ingold will be testing athletes on the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, and individual and group drills. Coach recommends that all participants come prepared in proper attire including field turf spikes and shorts.
