
Islanders to host Pioneers

(Harrisburg, Pa., June 16, 2005) - The Harrisburg City Islanders (4-3-1, 13 points) look to continue a franchise record three-game winning streak this Saturday, June 18, against the Western Mass Pioneers (4-1-4, 16 points). Kickoff at Skyline Sports Complex will be 7:05 p.m. The Pioneers are riding a seven-game unbeaten streak (4-0-3).
Harrisburg lost twice to the Pioneers in 2004: 1-0 in overtime at Skyline on July 25 and 2-1 in Western Mass on August 8. The clubs combined for 17 cautions and three ejections in the two matches.
Following Saturday's game, Harrisburg closes out the month of June with a road swing to Pittsburgh (Wednesday, June 22, 7:05 p.m.) and Cincinnati (Friday, June 24, 7:30 p.m.).
The team's next home game will be Saturday, July 9, when the Wilmington Hammerheads make their lone visit to Skyline this season (7:05 p.m. kickoff).
