
Islanders Open Training Camp on March 15

Harrisburg, PA â The Harrisburg City Islanders will open 2004 preseason training camp at Keller Field in Hummelstown on Monday, March 15.
Among the host of players who will be in attendance for training camp's opening day are four of the five players already signed by the club: midfielders Mike Feniger, Mike Henning, Derek Potteiger, and Pete Shellenberger. Forward David Bascome is completing his 2003-04 indoor season with the MISL's Baltimore Blast. Islanders Head Coach Bill Becher, Assistant Coaches Mark Pulisic and Steve Widdowson, and Director of Scouting Mike Corney will also be on hand.
The Harrisburg City Islanders will open their inaugural season in the Pro Soccer League (PSL), a division of the United Soccer Leagues (USL), on Saturday, April 17, with a road game against Northern Virginia. The Islanders will also play road contests on April 30 (Charlotte) and May 1 (Wilmington) before their historic home opener at the Skyline Sports Complex against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds on Saturday, May 8.
